春节假期全国揽投快递包裹量超7亿件
Sending New Year packages has become a new way to celebrate the Spring Festival in China. According to the State Post Bureau, during the Spring Festival holiday (January 21-27) this year, the national postal express industry collected and delivered more than 700 million express packages. During the Spring Festival this year, there was a strong demand for festival delivery and agricultural products. Medical supplies were delivered in time. Millions of couriers across the country stayed at their posts during the holiday to ensure timely delivery.

春节假期民航业复苏态势明显

During the Spring Festival holiday, the number of domestic passenger flights in China reached 85,000, an increase of nearly 54% over the same period last year. Domestic popular routes included Beijing - Sanya, Chengdu - Beijing, Guangzhou - Beijing, Beijing - Shanghai, Guangzhou - Shanghai, etc. Popular international destinations included Bangkok, Phuket, Seoul, Tokyo, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Sydney. According to the North China Air Traffic Control Bureau, from January 21 to 27, Beijing’s two airports, Beijing Capital International Airport and Daxing International Airport, handled 9,831 inbound and outbound flights. The total number of flights from both airports reached 87% of the same period in 2019, 1.85 times that of the same period last year.
2023年春节假期，中国国内客运航班量达到8.5万班次，比去年同期增长近54%，行业复苏态势明显。国内热门航线包括北京—三亚、成都—北京、广州—北京、北京—上海、广州—上海等。出入境的热门目的地包括曼谷、普吉岛、首尔、东京、新加坡、吉隆坡和悉尼。据华北空管局数据统计，1月21日至1月27日春节假期，华北空管共保障首都、大兴两机场进出港航班9831架次。两机场总架次达到2019年同期87%，为去年同期1.85倍。
海关高效查验进口花抢“鲜”上市
Flowers are popular in the celebration of the Spring Festival in China. During the holiday, other than traditional choices of flowers like butterfly orchid and narcissus, some imported flowers like Dutch tulips and Japanese cherry blossoms were also welcomed by customers in Beijing. The Beijing Customs conducted inspections at night and over the weekends in order to ensure fast and efficient customs clearance of fresh goods like flowers. Personnel in charge of the Beijing Hangyu International Logistics Co., Ltd. said that the imported flowers market is expected to recover rapidly as more international flights resume.

龙庆峡冰雕师傅守护“最美冰雕”
Ice lanterns are a traditional art form handed down for generations in northern China. Longqing Gorge is a well known scenic spot in northwest Beijing, attracting visitors from near and far to its annual ice lantern festival. During the Spring Festival, many visited Longqing Gorge. In order to maintain the ice sculptures in perfect conditions, repair work is constantly ongoing during the months of the event. At the same time, to ensure tourists’ safety, the scenic spot also carried out real-time monitoring of visitors’ flow.

“猛禽之王”金雕扎堆北京“过年”

The golden eagle is a national first class protected wild animal in China, known as the "King of Raptors". It was rarely spotted in previous years, but recently appears frequently in the western mountainous areas of Beijing. During the Spring Festival, a photography enthusiast took pictures of golden eagles preying, mating and competing for territory with vultures in Beijing’s Fangshan District. Zhang Zhiming, director of the Wildlife, Plant and Wetland Protection Division of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Landscape and Greening, said that in 2021, there were 596 species of wild animals in Beijing, including 503 species of birds, an increase of nearly 80 species compared with 10 years ago.
金雕是中国国家一级保护动物，被称作“猛禽之王”，往年非常罕见。但近日北京西部山区频繁出现它的身影。春节期间，摄影爱好者段峥在北京市房山区拍到了金雕捕食、交配以及和秃鹫争夺领地的画面。北京市园林绿化局野生动植物和湿地保护处处长张志明表示，2021年全北京市各类的野生动物达到了596种，其中鸟类达到了503种，比10年前增加了将近80种。

全国铁路营业里程达15.5万公里
2023年预计投产新线2500公里
In 2022, China Railway completed a fixed asset investment of 710.9 billion yuan (105 billion US dollars). 4,100 kilometers of new lines were put into operation, including 2,082 kilometers of high-speed railway. By the end of 2022, the total operating mileage of national railways has reached 155,000 kilometers, including 42,000 kilometers of high-speed railways. China Railway Group will focus on improving the management level and accelerating the construction of a modern railway infrastructure system.
2022年，中国铁路完成固定资产投资7109亿元，投产新线4100公里，其中高铁2082公里。截至2022年底，全国铁路营业里程达到15.5万公里，其中高铁4.2万公里。国铁集团将着力提升建设管理水平，加快构建现代化铁路基础设施体系。
推动北京城市副中心建设和通州区与北三县协同发展
According to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), China will further promote integrated high-quality development of Beijing's sub-center and neighboring areas. It is a key task in promoting the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The official highlighted major tasks in five areas, including concerted pollution control, infrastructure connectivity, industrial coordination, public service sharing, and reform and innovation.
国家发展改革委近日表示，我国将推动北京市通州区与河北省三河、大厂、香河三县市一体化高质量发展， 这也是“十四五”推进京津冀协同发展的一项重点工作。下一阶段通州区与北三县一体化高质量发展将落实五方面重点任务，包括：加强生态环境联控联治，推进基础设施互联互通，密切产业发展协同协作，促进公共服务共建共享和加大改革创新力度。
可骑行健步观鸟
“五一”前—— 永定河将再添20公里亲水休闲路
Beijing will continue to promote the construction of waterfront slow-traffic system this year. Before the May 1st holiday, another 20 kilometers of waterfront trails along the Yongding River will be fully open to the public. The new trails will be suitable for cycling and walking, as well as hosting popular science exhibitions and bird watching activities. So far, Beijing’s Municipal Bureau of Water Affairs has built more than 200 kilometers of waterfront trails along the Yongding River, the North Canal and the Wenyu River in order to promote a healthier lifestyle in the city.
今年北京市将持续推进滨水慢行系统及配套便民设施建设，五一劳动节前，永定河滞洪水库20公里的中堤环形路将全线开放，开放区域主要以骑行活动为主，健步活动为辅，伴有观鸟、体验永定河文化等科普展示。目前，北京市水务局结合河道治理建设了永定河、北运河、温榆河等滨水步道，累计建设200多公里滨水步道。
