now none of this is to say that social skills are unimportant, and i’m also not calling for the abolishing of teamwork at all. the same religions who send their sages off to lonely mountain tops also teach us love and trust. and the problems that we are facing today in fields like science and in economics are so vast and so complex that we are going to need armies of people coming together to solve them working together. but i am saying that the more freedom that we give introverts to be themselves, the more likely that they are to come up with their own unique solutions to these problems.
so now i’d like to share with you what’s in my suitcase today. guess what? books. i have a suitcase full of books. here’s margaret atwood, “cat’s eye.“ here’s a novel by milan kundera. and here’s “the guide for the perplexed“ by maimonides. but these are not exactly my books. i brought these books with me because they were written by my grandfather’s favorite authors.
my grandfather was a rabbi and he was a widower who lived alone in a small apartment in brooklyn that was my favorite place in the world when i was growing up, partly because it was filled with his very gentle, very courtly presence and partly because it was filled with books. i mean literally every table, every chair in this apartment had yielded its original function to now serve as a surface for swaying stacks of books. just like the rest of my family, my grandfather’s favorite thing to do in the whole world was to read.

First of all the Internet has brought people great convenience in getting information entertainment and contact with each other. As for our students it is a useful tool when we meet problems. When we are tired a piece of light music will help us relax. If we have free time we can enjoy movies or interesting cartoons. What’s more we can also watch live programs on the internet or see it later if we are not available at that time.
But there is also bad influence. Some of the young teenagers are addicted to computer games and some even play games all night. Because of lacking in sleep those students can not focus on in the class . As a result they may fail in the exam. When they realize it is wrong to spend too much time playing games it’s already too late.
I have remembered such a piece of news . An excellent student flunked (考试不及格) because he could not concentrate on his study for being too indulged in computer games. He spent nearly all the money on games which was earned by his fathers selling blood. When his father knelt down to beg him to return to school he was too numb to show any regret.
The most serious harm of computer games come from their contents which affects teenagers mental health. Many games involve violence such as fighting and killing. When they enjoy the pleasure of success a violent turn of mind is developed and rooted in them which may induce future violent behaviour in their life.
So when computers entertaining function is highly spoken of such a problem does deserve our serious concern.
In addition long times working before computer also does harm to health. The radiation from the computer can arose many uncomfortable feelings. like a headache poor eyesight.
At last people who are fond of making friends on line should also be careful. Many convicts use Internet as a way to cheat. THE first time I saw Bao was in 2005 the year when Thomas and Uber Cup was held. At that time he was playing against Li zongwei who is also a good player from Malaysia. Bao beat him. From that time I have focused on him. Then gradually I found that he not only has good appearance but also has a talent for badminton.
He is very tall about 1.90 meters. He is the tallest one among all the players in the Chinese Badminton Team. In 2006 he is chosen as the flag holder stands for China in the opening ceremony in the 15th Asian Games held in Doha. It was the first time that the badminton players were chosen to take over the special task before which time it belonged to the basketball players. It was a great honor. And it also proved that Bao was an excellent athlete. We are all proud of him.
He began to play badminton when he was at primary school. In 2000 he won his first good medal which was significant to him in Guangzhou. Because of that he entered the Chinese Badminton Team. As he is as old as Lin dan who is the top one in the world he is always put into a situation which is not good to him. He seldom beats Lin dan so he gained a name which is called. In fact his techniques are comprehensive but he is lack of passion the desire to win is not so strong. So he always has misplays. Due to this he seldom wins the gold medal. I think this is related to his character. He is easygoing and couth; he looks as if he will never get angry with anybody. So this affects him while he is playing badminton. In a period of time critical voice has come towards him. He is under great pressure. He was not in the best state. But recently he cheers up again. Several days ago the Chinese Badminton Championship 2007 was held in Guangzhou. I went to see him on Saturday. I was very excited and I shouted loudly hoping he could hear me. There is no doubt that he won the game. Before he went away he waved hand to us how excited I was at that time! The next day he beat Li zongwei again and he won the man’s single gold medal. All of us are very happy. After 7 years which could be a long time for an athlete he proved himself again in Guangzhou which is considered as his lucky place.
I think this will be the energy of his advancing. And I hope he can keep this fighting will and win the gold medal in the 29th Olympic Games held in Beijing!

His game, which he originally called Mintonette, quickly became popular, not only in the United States but also around the world.
As everyone knows, in the indoor game, each team has six players and points are scored by successfully landing the ball in the court of the opponents without it being returned successfully. The reason why I said volleyball is a more skillful game is each skill in this game, including serving, spiking blocking and tossing, must be well trained, otherwise you can hardly play the game, even be attacked.
Now that volleyball is a difficult sport, you must feel strange why I have the weakness for this high-technique one. I think, I am fond of this sport for three reasons at least. To start with, every spike will make me excited frequently. Second, cooperation in this sport always bring me happiness and successful sense that is a kind of spirit enjoyment. Third, achievements made by Chinese women volleyball team inspired me so much.
